Oscar winner Helen Mirren is Detective Jane Tennison, "perhaps the greatest role and performance of a female police detective, ever" (San Francisco Chronicle), in a series that won more than 20 major international awards and raised the bar for police dramas.In Series 4, the newly promoted Detective Superintendent Tennison moves among stations to head high-profile cases for the Area Major Investigation Team. A wrenching personal decision colors her search for an abducted toddler in "The Lost Child." In "Inner Circles," the manager of an exclusive country club is found dead in his home, and fingers point to the residents of a local housing project. The "Scent of Darkness" finds Tennison happy in her private life, but strained at work. The Shield's Kenny Johnson to Guest-Star on Burn Notice

The Shield's Kenny Johnson will make a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of Burn Notice, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Johnson, who was last seen on NBC's Prime Suspect and has also had turns on The Mentalist and Sons of Anarchy, will play Tyler Gray, an assassin who is the target of a CIA operation in Panama. The character, described as being "as devious as he is deadly," will play a pivotal role on the show's midseason finale.
