The award-winning "High Tech, Low Life" details the experiences of two Chinese bloggers who buck government censorship and risk arrest as political dissidents in order to report on news and injustices that are otherwise suppressed. Zhang Shihe, aka "Tiger Temple," began blogging in 2004 when a murder in his neighborhood went unmentioned in the government-controlled press. Zhou Shuguang, aka Zola, started doing the same in 2007 after he heard of a family resisting eviction in a nearby province.
