The story of a Brooklyn junior-high chess team that has achieved astonishing results since it began competing in national tournaments in 2000, including winning 30 national titles and, in 2012, the U.S. High School National Championship. The documentary focuses on five team members, including an 11 year old who is one of America's highest-ranked young chess players; and a 13 year old who could well become the first black female master in the history of chess.
