Disney XD is serving up all the tricks and treats this Halloween season with Monday's "Monster Mayhem" (Oct. 14, beginning at 7:30/6:30c). The special night of programming includes brand new, spooktacular episodes of Crash & Bernstein, Kickin' It, Mighty Med and Lab Rats.
Before the new episodes kick ...
Maddy Smith and Rhydian Morris
Disney Channel will air the British pre-teen supernatural series Wolfblood in October as part of its month-long "Monstober" schedule of Halloween-themed favorites.
Wolfblood centers on 14-year-old Maddy (Aimee Kelly), who has a secret: She's a "wolfblood." These creatures — neither wolf nor human — possess extraordinary strength, super speed and heightened senses.
Disney Channel will air the entire first season of Wolfblood on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8/7c from Oct. 1 through Oct. 24. In the premiere, Maddy discovers that the new boy at school, Rhydian (Bobby Lockwood), also shares her secret.
Phineas and Ferb
Nothing is sacred to Dr. Doofenshmirtz, not even... waffles?! The bumbling villain of Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb has big plans for next month's D23 Expo, where a real-life version of his latest contraption, the Waffle-inator, is set to be installed. The 40-foot tall "video skyscraper" will spout flying foam waffles at this year's edition of the biennial event, a festival of all things Disney, held Aug. 9—11 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Attendees can board the interactive game and help the adventurous stepbrothers outmaneuver Dr. Doof and help free Agent P.
Phineas and Ferb, Star Wars
Phineas and Ferb creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh have been pitching a Star Wars crossover from the moment Disney acquired Lucasfilm and the Star Wars franchise last year. Now they're getting their chance.
Hot off the heels of...
Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel
Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb help Spider-Man, the Hulk, Thor and Iron Man save the world in the crossover TV special Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, set to debut Friday, Aug. 16 at 8/7c.
Disney Channel SVOD and WATCH Disney Channel users will be given a first look at the special beginning Monday, Aug. 12. Starting Saturday, Aug. 17, the special will be available for download on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video Store and Microsoft Xbox.
Phineas and Ferb
Princesses, pop stars and superheroes will be among the many Disney favorites taking over the Anaheim Convention Center on August 9—11 for the biennial D23 Expo. The celebration of all things Disney will include the stars and creators of several popular shows from the Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior.
Among the big Disney Channel events being showcased are Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, a summer special in which the boys meet the superheroes of (Disney-owned) Marvel Comics; Teen Beach Movie, a live-action musical airing July 19; and Wander Over Yonder, the upcoming animated series from The Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken and starring 30 Rock alum Jack McBrayer (both of whom will be in attendance).
Disney XD's Summer Programming
Disney XD is giving kids tons of action-packed reasons to say indoors this summer with the network's most ambitious programming slate yet. The young, male-driven network will unveil a slew of series and specials this season including Marvel's Avengers Assemble, premiering Sunday July 7, and Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., premiering Sunday, Aug. 11. The network has also partnered with the X Games for four separate specials, airing nightly July 22-25. All of the "Non-Stop Summer" fun officially makes a splash on Monday, June 17. Here are the highlights:
Phineas and Ferb, Taylor Swift
We've seen everything from goats to Walter White sing "I Knew You Were Trouble," but we've never seen anything like this. Phineas and Ferb is tackling the popular Taylor Swift song in Friday's episode, airing at 8/7c on Disney.
Dr. Doofenshmirtz from "Phineas & Ferb" guest stars on "Shark Tank."
The Sharks have never met an inventor like this. Phineas and Ferb's bumbling villain Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz will appear next month on the season finale of ABC's Shark Tank, offering the show's tycoons a chance to invest in his latest evil invention.
Fans of the animated Disney Channel hit Phineas and Ferb know, of course, that Dr. Doofenshmirtz's nefarious "inator" creations, generally inspired by his desire to control the greater "tri-state area," usually wind up self-destructing.
Phineas and Ferb
Disney Channel's "Freaky Freakend" programming stunt kicks off Friday night with body swapping-themed episodes of hit series A.N.T. Farm, Jessie, Gravity Falls and Phineas and Ferb. Episodes of Dog with a Blog, Austin & Ally and Shake It Up continue the fun on Sunday.
