Premise: A dark and arresting drama about a California newspaper dynasty caught up in a scandal that exposed a long-buried family secret. As prime-time soaps go, this one was unusually intelligent (Diane Keaton directed the pilot), but ratings were low, Fox was impatient and only four episodes aired.
