What can you tell me about Twelve and Clara's dynamic on Doctor Who? — Aisha
Things will be very different between the pair now that the Doctor — to put it gently — has a few more years on him. In fact, without her schoolgirl crush influencing her, Clara begins to come into her own and be more assertive in their relationship. "I think she succeeds in dominating him, telling him what to do," Peter Capaldi teases. But don't expect him to be a total pushover. "She can only get so far with that," Capaldi says. "Then he'll turn. He often turns."

What is Juice up to when the new season of Sons of Anarchy begins? — Luke
Since he both "betrayed" Jax and killed the sheriff to protect Gemma, he's understandably keeping a low profile. Naturally, his hideout is soon discovered, which forces Juice to take even more drastic action to keep his secret safe.... read more

Bill can't die! I know everyone does on True Blood, but please tell me that he takes the cure. — Andrea
With only two episodes to go, there are a lot of narrative threads to tie up, including the issue of Bill's mortality. I will only say this: At least one original cast member will say goodbye for good this week. In possibly related news, a longstanding love triangle will be resolved and you'll see one of the show's weirdest — and funniest — sex scenes between a long-unrequited pair.

I can't believe they're already giving DiNozzo a new love interest on NCIS. — Susan

Anything on The Blacklist— Michelle
While everyone has been focused on the mystery of Liz's father, Season 2 will also explore who Liz's mother was. "If the part about my dad wasn't true, what is the truth, if any, that I need to learn about my mom?" executive producer John Eisendrath says of Liz's mindset this year. In other news, there will be a small time jump when the show returns, but Berlin will still very much be in the picture as the main villain in the "first portion of the year," Eisendrath adds.

Chasing Life: Does April Have to Die?

Chasing Life

It's the elephant in the room on Chasing Life and so many other TV shows, movies, novels and plays: Is the character with cancer going to die? Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith admits he had the same question when he was first approached to join the ABC Family drama (Tuesdays, 9/8c) about a young journalist April Carver (Italia Ricci) who learns that she has cancer. "One of my first reactions was, 'Well, how do you keep this show going?' For me, the show is... read more

Parenthood Boss Calls Final Season a "Gift," Teases a "Huge Challenge" for the Bravermans

Monica Potter, Max Burkholder, and Peter Krause

Parenthood fans were in an emotional tizzy this past spring, but it wasn't because of a heartbreaking story line on the show.

After five seasons, the fate of the beloved family drama remained in question and was the last scripted series to receive a pick-up from NBC for the 2014-2015 TV season just hours before the network's fall schedule was unveiled.

2014 Emmy nominations: Surprises and snubs

The show received a reduced 13-episode final season order, and showrunner Jason Katims is thankful he will get to say a proper goodbye to the Bravermans. "For a show I'm so personally invested in... read more

Parenthood Debate: Should Amber Be Pregnant?

Mae Whitman, Matt Lauria

To be or not to be ... pregnant: That is the question facing the writers of Parenthood as the show prepares to kick off its final season this fall. While the Season 5 finale wrapped up many of the year's ongoing story lines, so much so that it made star Peter Krause worry about a renewal, there was one huge cliff-hanger left unanswered: Is Amber (Mae Whitman) expecting? Aside from the hotly debated question of how she and on-and-off love Ryan (Matt Lauria) could have even had sex in his hospital bed in the first place — we're with you, Ray Romano — Amber was spotted buying a pregnancy test in the final act. While the writers begin to decide where the final 13 episodes will take the Braverman clan, we thought we'd help them out by devising a pro-con list of whether Amber... read more

Parenthood Boss and Stars on Saying Goodbye to the Bravermans

Parenthood

Parenthood's Season 5 finale could've easily served as a series ending, and a satisfying one at that, so much so that both the drama's showrunner and its stars wondered if the network would feel it was the right place to end.

"I got nervous watching [the finale] because I felt like, that kind of leaves it in a place where the network can very easily say, 'Oh, that's a nice ending to a series," Peter Krause told a theater full of fans Saturday at the show's ATX Television Festival panel, moderated by this reporter. Added showrunner Jason Katims, "This year, I honestly was hedging my bets. More than any other [season], I didn't know whether the show was going to come back and I thought it was a good chance we wouldn't."
