A sequel of sorts to the 1983 film about conflicts between greasers and jocks in an Oklahoma town in the mid-'60s. Narrated by the troubled 15-year-old Ponyboy, the series is based on S.E. Hinton's novel. Francis Ford Coppola (who directed the film) was coexecutive producer.
