Orange Is the New Black
Orange Is the New Black, Elementary and the film Philomena were among the winners at the second evening of the GLAAD Media Awards, which took place Saturday in New York City.
Where are all the black women in film? That's a question USA Today has asked several actresses after only one black woman was nominated for her a Golden Globe in any film category. The solution, perhaps, is a principle long ago adopted by Scandal and Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes.
Our top moments of the week:
13. Better Late Than Never Award: Pretty Little Liars' penultimate episode not only reveals Red Coat to be CeCe Drake (OK, not a shocker there), but a mysterious young guy named Travis tells Hanna that he was there the night of Wilden's murder and knows it wasn't Ashley Marin. Although he's reluctant to tell the police what he saw due to "bad blood," he goes down to the station in the final moments. Will Hanna's mom finally go free? Or does A have a plan to keep her locked up?
12. Worst Edit Job: For weeks now on...

What advice did Lance Bass give Jason Collins about coming out?
"I'm happy to start the conversation," Collins said in his Sports Illustrated essay that he came out in. "I wish I wasn't the kid in the classroom raising his hand and saying, 'I'm different.' If I had my way, someone else would have already done this. Nobody has, which is why I'm raising my hand."
