Premise: Chick Benetto (Michael Imperioli), a washed-up, suicidal former major leaguer, takes another look at life after he's granted time with his deceased mother (Ellen Burstyn). Samantha Mathis, Scott Cohen. Directed by Lloyd Kramer. Mitch Albom adapted his book for the teleplay. Imperioli's son Vadim makes his acting debut as a young Chick.
