One Tree Hill Episode Recap: "Even Fairy Tale Characters Would be Jealous" Season 6, Episode 10

This week's episode of One Tree Hill centered on the USO concert that Peyton held in honor of her brother Derek, and his fellow marines. It began with Haley on stage but we soon realized that it was just a nightmare where she forgot her song. And while Haley started off her morning in fear, others began with surprises. When Brooke went downstairs she saw Sam not only waiting for her at the breakfast table, but with food already prepared. Millicent, on the other hand, got a not so pleasant surprise when she returned home only to find someone other than Mouth in her bed. Gigi was passed out with Mouth asleep on the couch. So what did Millie do with this discovery? She called Mouth to give him the head's up that she's be home soon hearing him squeal and then so nicely said, "Oh and Marvin, can you do one last thing for me? Get that slut out of my bed!" Even when she's mad, Millie still manages to stay polite.

Apparently Jamie has an imaginary friend named Orville, I assume after the popcorn guy. Just as Nathan begins to think his child is weird for having an imaginary friend, Quentin shows up. Being that he's dead, Quentin too is a figment of Nate's imagination. And he isn't observing quietly in the background. Q is there to play devil's advocate and show Nathan that he shouldn't give up on his dreams of playing basketball. He explains to Q that he called it quits because he doesn't want to end up in the wheelchair and put his family through hell again. He also realized that no-one is invincible and the day that Quentin didn't show up to the river court it was because he was murdered. Dreams die. Q then urges Nathan that he's got a second chance and wishes he had one as well. This scene was pretty powerful and wow Robbie Jones (who plays Q) is a pretty great actor.

Over on team "Leyton," P. Sawyer is a little bummed out that her fiancé is "okay" with her having been in love with Julian. But of course he's not. First he punches Julian and then at the concert he talks to Brooke about it. Turns out he's actually pretty upset that Peyton and Julian got together right after they broke up. But Brooke reminds him that not only did he try to hook up with her the night after him and Peyton ended things, but he almost married Lindsay! She explains that Julian was just a rebound. "Do you fall in love with rebounds?" Lucas asked. "Every time. But it's not real love, your head tricks you into it to protect you from the crushing pain your heart is putting you through," Brooke answered. Once again, great line.

Gigi is relentless and I'm really starting to wonder what her deal is. And Millicent is freaking out. Brooke calms her down but she reveals that she doesn't sleep with him, she actually doesn't do very much of anything in bed with him which is why she feels threatened. "You live with him, you share a bed with him and you are still intact." Great way to put it B. Millicent finally confronts Mouth and when he explains that nothing happened and that he was just being respectful she tells him, "I think you're paying too much respect to the wrong girl.

Brooke may finally be getting the baby that she's always wanted. Of course the adoption agency calls and leaves a message that Sam can hear. She immediately assumes she'll be out when the baby comes in and that "everyone wants the puppy not the mutt." But she's wrong. Brooke explains to her that she's not going back to the pound. "My home is your home now Sam and it's going to be that way as long as you want it to be." Looks like Sam's here to stay

Lucas tells Julian there isn't going to be a movie but unfortunately for him, Julian owns the option so it's happening with or without him. But Julian, whether it's genuine or not, tells Peyton that he believes in the book and needs Lucas. She thinks he's lying but they decide to convince him to do the movie. Back at home Peyton and Lucas talk about it and he explains that it's hard for him to know that she was in love with Julian but that since she was so strong when he strayed from them, he's going to try. And it doesn't hurt when he adds, "Who wouldn't fall in love with you Peyton Sawyer?" So for now things seem okay but with Julian sticking around there's sure to be some bumps in the road.

Haley comes home to a room full of candles that Nathan has made for her. He tells her to promise that they'll never be too scared to live their dreams. Turns out Quentin's "you owe it to be the best version of yourself" speech hit home. It was so sweet when Nathan said that every time he gets to see Jamie laugh, hold Haley, it's a dream come true. Nathan sees Quentin one last time and tells him that he misses him. "Just focus on the comeback and I'll be there, every step of the way. Live the life, live the dream, no fear." And with that, Q is gone.

Do you think Nathan will go back to basketball? Will Mouth be able to stay faithful to Millie? And who's excited for next week's episode, written by Chad Michael Murray himself?!
