Damages

Damages

Now, where are we going into tonight's season (series?) finale? Tom, who we know is a dead man, made a deal with Lenny (the guy who stole Lenny's identity years ago, actually), and Lenny turned on the Tobins after Joe turned him out. Joe has already gone bonkers: How much further will he sink? What's with Patty and the horse? And with Julian Decker? And look for more developments in the Season 1 murder of David Connor. (Watch out, Arthur Frobisher!)  At the very least, Ellen can take comfort in that.

8/7c Fox
Well, it's official. Jack Bauer will be looking for work after the last ten hours of this brutal day play out — this eighth season will be the last for 24. Not that we have to feel that bad for Jack (or Kiefer). Saving the nation from terrorist onslaught eight times looks pretty good on a résumé. He'll probably land on his feet. In the meantime, though, there's still work to do. In this two-hour episode, the bad guys have a radiological weapon in Manhattan ready to wipe out 40 square blocks, so Jack's got his hands full.

Nurse Jackie's Merritt Wever: Zoey's Breaking Out of Her Shell

Merritt Wever, Nurse Jackie

Season 1 of Nurse Jackie focused on the wreckage of Jackie's personal life. But in Season 2, there's plenty of mess to go around.

"I think, for all the characters, the writers laid great foundations for them last year," says Merritt Wever, whose quirky nurse Zoey is one of the characters who will grab more attention. "For everybody this season, you're just learning a lot more about who they are specifically."

Eleven celebrities are on hand as Season 10 opens, running the gamut from those who recently made headlines (gold-medal-winning Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek and newly engaged Bachelor Jake Pavelka) to those who bring to mind 1990s nostalgia (Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson and Beverly Hills, 90210 bad girl Shannen Doherty) to former reality star Kate Gosselin. Tonight they dance either the Viennese waltz or the cha-cha, and then return for a second dance next week before the first elimination occurs.

Fringe left us with a crazy cliff-hanger. What will Olivia do with her newfound knowledge about Peter? — Brandt
MICKEY: The first post-hiatus episode, April 1's "Peter," is an '80s flashback blockbuster in which Walter finally tells Olivia the truth about his son. It fills in almost all the gaps in Peter's mysterious backstory: why Olivia sees him glimmer, how he was cured and why he owes the Observer his life. Plus: We'll meet Peter's mother for the first time and get a pretty good idea how Nina Sharp lost her arm to "cancer."

What do you make of those Lost "Last Supper" pictures? — Landy
MICKEY:
First off, let me put on my tin-foil hat so my thoughts can't be read. There, that's better. Let me ask you: Why do you think there are two images? Is ABC just offering us a bit of photographic variety or are the twin images themselves a clue to how things go down in Season 6? Could the skulls indicate impending deaths, albeit in alternate timelines? These are questions worth asking.
