Monday's season finale of Nurse Jackie is not just a moment of reckoning for substance abuser Jackie, but also for Dr. Fitch Cooper, whose less-than-ethical behavior comes back to haunt him.
Peter Facinelli, who plays Coop, likens his character to "a puppy in a room full of people who don't like dogs." Though Coop is for sure a doofus, Facinelli says he never plays the part for laughs. Instead, he says, "the more dramatic I try to be, the funnier it is."
When Sam discovers that Coop slept with...
Peppermint, birthdays and polar bears, oh my! Buddy makes a cake for the Coney Island Polar Bear Club, where he's invited to take a swim with the furry creatures. On top of that, Buddy's youngest son wants an ice-cream cake for his birthday.

After a three-week layoff, Chuck and Sarah returned last week and went full steam ahead to derail some snakes on a train — venomous Spanish spies, that is. Chuck and Sarah's on-and-off relationship is going full throttle as well, but this spiking romance will be tested tonight when they train under the tutelage of Craig and Laura Turner (Fred Willard and Swoosie Kurtz), a married CIA couple with a glowing spy record — but who zestfully despise one another. Are Chuck and Sarah destined for a similarly stormy relationship? And Casey's at the bat in a training mission: He must show the spy ropes to none other than Nerd Herder Morgan.

Since 24 is almost over, everyone is going to die now, right? — Mark G.
MICKEY: Wow, that's a dark spirit you got there, fella. Welcome! The continuing movie talk has squelched the idea of Jack making the ultimate sacrifice in the series finale. But I do know of two surprising deaths that will take place before the show's May 24 finale. One will be shockingly emotional; the other will just be shocking.
What do you guys know about the Grey's Anatomy season finale? — Stephanie

Any tidbits on the Fringe finale? — Todd
MICKEY: Olivia and Walter make their way "over there" for the two part-finale (May 13 and 20, 9/8c, Fox), in which Walter finally comes face to face with his former partner, Dr. William Bell (guest star Leonard Nimoy). Unfortunately, traveling to another universe has its consequences, and in this case those include someone dying. And if my mole is correct about the identity of the soon-to-be deceased, fans of the show will be apoplectic.
Will Hawkes ever have a love interest on CSI: NY? — Clarisse
ADAM: No one wants that more than Hill Harper. "Hawkes definitely needs some lovin'. Folks have been tweeting to me, saying...
Now, where are we going into tonight's season (series?) finale? Tom, who we know is a dead man, made a deal with Lenny (the guy who stole Lenny's identity years ago, actually), and Lenny turned on the Tobins after Joe turned him out. Joe has already gone bonkers: How much further will he sink? What's with Patty and the horse? And with Julian Decker? And look for more developments in the Season 1 murder of David Connor. (Watch out, Arthur Frobisher!) At the very least, Ellen can take comfort in that.

Well, it's official. Jack Bauer will be looking for work after the last ten hours of this brutal day play out — this eighth season will be the last for 24. Not that we have to feel that bad for Jack (or Kiefer). Saving the nation from terrorist onslaught eight times looks pretty good on a résumé. He'll probably land on his feet. In the meantime, though, there's still work to do. In this two-hour episode, the bad guys have a radiological weapon in Manhattan ready to wipe out 40 square blocks, so Jack's got his hands full.

Watch the episode after the jump:
Merritt Wever, Nurse Jackie
Season 1 of Nurse Jackie focused on the wreckage of Jackie's personal life. But in Season 2, there's plenty of mess to go around.
"I think, for all the characters, the writers laid great foundations for them last year," says Merritt Wever, whose quirky nurse Zoey is one of the characters who will grab more attention. "For everybody this season, you're just learning a lot more about who they are specifically."
