“Life's Greatest Miracle.” This remake of the 1983 “Nova” Emmy and Peabody winner follows the creation and gestation of a human being via inside-the-body photography and computer animation. It is, says narrator John Lithgow, “the essence of life.” Outside the womb, the hour follows a couple, Melinda and Sergio, through Melinda's pregnancy. Medical photographer Lennart Nilsson also collaborated with “Nova” on the 1983 film.
