"Frontline" and "Nova" team up to "disentangle" a biotechnology controversy in a report in which scientists, activists and industry representatives explore the safety of genetically modified foods; whether scientists are "tampering with nature" in devising them; whether they cause (or could cause) "biological pollution"; and whether, in fact, they're even necessary. Says 1970 Nobel laureate Norman Borlaug, "most of the people opposing biotechnology have never known hunger."
