Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy), Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) and Tim Roth (Lie to Me)
Every week, senior editors Matt Webb Mitovich, Mickey O'Connor and Tim Molloy satisfy your need for TV scoop. Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.
I adored the "McFamily" scenes last week on Grey's Anatomy. What's next for Mark, Lexie, Meredith and Derek? — Kelly
MATT: For Mark and Lexie, much cuteness is on the immediate horizon. I mean, as much as Thatcher Grey makes my skin crawl (no offense, Jeff Perry!), the way things play out when he returns is better than I expected. For Mer and Der, there's the none-too-small matter of a stern ultimatum coming from the bride. As that gets sorted out, the would-be marrieds will find cause to fast-track their wedding, so get to updating that website, illing Izzie!
So I'm guessing that Gaby will be hosting the spoiled teen diva on Desperate Housewives. They should totally get Selena Gomez to play the part! — Darcy
MICKEY: I like where your head's at, Darcy, what with the Disney/ABC corporate synergy and all. It won't be Selena, but the Housewives casting elves ...

Kelly Carlson, Melanie Griffith
If you've ever wondered who brought Nip/Tuck's wild Kimber into the world, you'll soon meet her — and she'll be played by Melanie Griffith.
The Working Girl actress will play Brandie, Kimber's beautiful and considerate mother, who visits her ex-pornstar daughter from Wisconsin, a show insider confirms exclusively to TVGuide.com. (Griffith couldn't be better cast in terms of looks — her resemblance to Kelly Carlson, who plays Kimber, is striking.)
Brandie will be joined by Les, her too-tan, on-again-off-again car-salesman boyfriend of six years. Les, played by Robin Thomas (Another World, Who's the Boss), ignites insta-hate from Christian ...

Bret Harrison, Rick Gonzalez and Tyler Labine, Reaper
Reaper
8 pm/ET CW
Don't fear, the reaper is back — but he's out of work. Fans have waited since last May for the second season to begin, and it finally arrives tonight. Unfortunately, the vacationing Sam, Sock and Ben return from a little R & R to discover they have all been fired from the Work Bench. And to make matters worse, they've also been evicted from their apartment. One bright spot for Sock is that he learns he has a gorgeous stepsister (Eriko Tamura). And, of course, the Devil shows up with a helluva assignment for Sam.

Kevin Tige and Timothy Hutton, Leverage
Biggest Loser: Couples
8 pm/ET NBC
The players are thrust out of their comfort zones in the first half of this two-part episode. The buddy system goes out the window as the teams are reorganized into just two groups. This move pairs some players with a new trainer, and the adjustment isn't an easy one for all of them. Once the dust settles, the contestants compete in a 24-hour bike challenge. The second half of the episode airs tomorrow at 8 pm/ET.

The Office
There's an episode of Family Guy where Peter gets to do an "everyman" editorial segment on the evening news with the tagline: "You know what really grinds my gears?" Then he rambles about something that annoys him. It's hard not to think of this bit every time something really off happens on one of our favorite TV shows. We asked around the office to see what stories or characters really "grind our gears" lately.
The Office
Why the heck can't Jim plan a simple party for Kelly? Yes, it's funny that he and Dwight are the party-planning committee, but Jim is thoughtful and sweet, not a moron. Why can't he buy a nice cake and some balloons and put together a fun party? This is the same guy who bought Pam a teapot she mentioned once and filled it with all sorts of fun inside jokes. But he can't spell Kelly's name? Come on.
Lost
We're really getting tired of all the island trekking: from the beach to New Otherton to the caves to the hatches. Can't they just stay in one place for an episode? Read more of our pet peeves after the jump.

Be My Valentine Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Valentine
Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown; A Charlie Brown Valentine
8 pm/ET ABC
Some things never change, like Charlie Brown's rotten love life. In the opener of tonight's "Peanuts" Valentine's Day double bill (first telecast in 1977), no one — the little red-haired girl notably included — has sent our round-headed hero a valentine. In the second program (from 2002), Chuck has worked up the courage to call her, but don't expect a miracle. Meanwhile, Sally's luck with Linus isn't much better. And Lucy? She's as assertive about amour as she is about everything else.

Burt Young and Christopher Meloni, Law & Order: SVU
Leverage
10 pm/ET TNT The seedy and the greedy keep taking down the needy, and Nate Ford and his Ford-tough subordinates render yet another high-tech scam to stop it. Tonight their mark is an investment broker who apparently bilked a charity. The crew's scheme involves tricking the financier to enter a rehab facility for his long list of various vices, which include addictions to nicotine patches, porn, gambling, lying and eating. Sadly, it turns out rehab might be a suitable place for one of the team members, too.

Nip/Tuck - Season 5, Part 1
Sean becomes a TV star, Christian moonlights as a gigolo, Julia becomes a lesbian and Matt dates his half-sister. Suffice to say, the first half of Nip/Tuck's fifth season is nothing but unexpected twists and turns. The 14-episode set is filled with plenty of shocking storylines as McNamara and Troy start their new life in Beverly Hills. Guest stars include Rosie O'Donnell, Lauren Hutton, Daphne Zuniga, Oliver Platt, Portia de Rossi and even a teenage villain played by 90210's AnnaLynne McCord. But nothing beats Sharon Gless' portrayal of Sean's psycho-obsessed agent, Colleen.
In addition to all the juicy episodes ...
