Cheers to Nashville Star for cutting to the chase. American Idol's countrified cousin whittled down the audition process which takes Simon Cowell & Co. seemingly endless weeks to 20 minutes, and promptly presented the Top 12 finalists. In a word: Giddyap! Share your own raves and rants about other shows on the Reader Cheers & Jeers discussion board. We may feature your Cheer or Jeer on TVGuide.com or in TV Guide magazine!

The network is getting behind the return of American Gladiators and America's Got Talent as a patriotic buildup to the Olympics in August.
