With Pablo in hiding at his father's remote farm, the cartels clamor for control; there's friction among the Los Pepes; an attempt is made on Judy Moncada's life, which leads her to seek a deal with Pena that will hopefully include immunity from prosecution.
Pablo is nearly captured after the DEA and Colombian government receive new intel on his whereabouts and he responds with increased and more deadly violence; the Cali cartel takes over Miami and murders the Lion. Later, Blackie is arrested and gives up info that leads to the capture of La Quica.
After the murder of the Search bloc leader, the president manipulates another colonel into taking the job; Pablo receives a visit from the head of his Miami operation, who brings him good news; Pena, left on his own with no backup, requests assistance from Don Berna.
Pablo has a plan to turn the people against the ruthless Col. Carrillo; the Cali cartel attempt to get to the fugitive drug czar; and, later, an informer tips of the Search bloc to Pablo's location, but he has a surprise waiting for them.
