Part 1 of two. “Miss Marple: The Moving Finger.” After a motorcycle accident, Jerry Burton and his sister (James D'Arcy, Emilia Fox) move to a quaint village for his recovery; and learn that the townsfolk are being targeted with poison-pen letters, which resulted in the suicide of one recipient. Their interest is piqued when they too receive a note. The case also draws in Miss Marple (Geraldine McEwan), who is staying with the town's vicar (Ken Russell) and his wife (Frances de la Tour).
