Hetty Wainthropp is "Helping Hansi" (Richard Pasco), a retired German gardener, find his sister and nephew. They were separated by WWII, and Hansi is still paying for Hitler's sins at the retirement home where he lives. "Someone hates me," he tells Hetty (Patricia Routledge). "Who and why is a mystery."
