Part 1 of two. “What Mrs. McGillicuddy Saw,” an old friend of Miss Marple's, Mrs. McGillicuddy (Pam Ferris), sees a young woman being strangled aboard a train. Trouble is, she saw it through her window on another train, and no body was found. After retracing the route, Miss Marple (Geraldine McEwan) concludes that it must have been dumped on the grounds of a run-down estate occupied by a viperously dysfunctional family.
