“The Mrs. Bradley Mysteries: The Rising of the Moon.” Mrs. B (Diana Rigg) runs into a stone wall of resistance from members of a traveling circus when one of their number is murdered. “A rather ironic death,” she observes, noting that the victim, the assistant to the circus's knife thrower, had been stabbed. Not surprisingly, Inspector Christmas (Peter Davison) thinks the thrower (Francis Magee) was also the stabber. Also not surprisingly, Mrs. B has her doubts. Moody: Neil Dudgeon.
