Gladys Mitchell's worldly 1920s psychologist-sleuth solves crimes committed in the most prestigious British households. This series of whodunits aired as part of PBS's `Mystery!' show and featured host Diana Rigg as Adela Bradley, a jaded divorcée who dabbles in detective work, aided by her chauffeur, George Moody. The 90-minute pilot, `The Speedy Death,' was shown in 1999. Four new episodes aired in 2003: `Death at the Opera,' `Rising of the Moon,' `Laurels Are Poison' and `The Worsted Viper.'
