NBC is putting Chase on hiatus, a network rep confirms.
Beginning Wednesday, NBC will replace the freshman drama with a second hour of Minute to Win It.
The move comes a day after the game show posted series-high ratings — 9.5 million viewers and a 3.0 rating in the adults 18-49 demo — in Chase's normal 9/8c timeslot. The most recent new episode of Chase drew 4.17 million viewers and a 1.2 rating.

While American Idol lapped the field, its Wednesday night edition declined slightly yet again, attracting 24.9 million viewers. Last week it got 25.2 million, which was down less than a million from its Season 10 premiere a week earlier.
