Episode Synopsis: The curtain falls on Season 2 with Feinstein exploring the history of nightclub entertainment, from Harlem's Cotton Club to Las Vegas. Along the way, he talks with Rose Marie, who helped open Vegas in the 1940s; and Maya Angelou, who once had a calypso act. He also tours the Liberace Museum in Las Vegas, where he plays one of the rhinestone-encrusted pianos. Original Air Date: Feb 17, 2012

Premise: A history of American popular music through the eyes of vocalist Michael Feinstein, featuring his interpretations of classic songs, stories of the songwriters and entertainers he's worked with. The series follows him on tour and into attics, basements and flea markets in search of treasures from the bygone age, and includes audio and film footage, as well as past and present performances of songs.
