Merge on Lifetime

A home-makeover series helps newlywed couples `merge' their possessions in one household. The catch is that it's done while they're on their honeymoon. After determining what to keep, their other belongings are discarded---either given away to charity or tossed into a furniture-destroying machine known as `The Shredder.'
