The Academy by Michael Becker/Fox Reality Channel

Premise: Parents pick a date for their son or daughter. When the show premiered, executive producer Bruce Nash said that it's based on every guy's worst nightmare: `Having to meet the girl's parents.' Along the way, prospective suitors cope with various awkward questions and challenges, including lie-detector tests---and the arrival of former romantic partners.
