Question: I was really looking forward to a new episode of Medium. I've always liked this show, especially the family dynamics. It's so rare to see a stable family portrayed on television this way, and there's an element of mystery to the storylines, which can be a lot of fun. So it's with great sadness that this goes on my "don't watch" list, along with SVU and CSI. The graphic depiction of the murdered little boy was just too much for me. My sixth sense is telling me that Medium is headed back to Monday night! Actually, it's a well-placed NBC source that's doing the blabbing, but whatever. The bottom line is that the Patricia Arquette starrer will kick off its fourth season on Monday, Jan. 7 at 10 pm, where it'll round out a new strike-imposed Monday lineup that includes American Gladiators at 8 pm and Deal or No Deal at 9 pm. Question: Everyone is concerned that with the writers' strike, we'll all be left with nothing to watch except reality shows. And being the couch potato that I am (with absolutely no interest in any reality show), I see the point.
