November 22, 2006 – Medium – Be Kind, Rewind Season 3, Episode 2

Arraignments, Attitude and Bad A**! On the tail of the Madonna concert earlier this evening, Allison wakes up on a Friday four separate times. It takes her until the fourth morning to figure out what's going on. I've got squash to cook and bread to bake, so this is going to be a short one. Allison dreams the same dream over and over until she gets it right. Her handsome, and sex-deprived husband, Joe, keeps begging for endorphins to be released. He rallies again and again, " Sex is good for you, you release endorphins and endorphins make you happy." Her bullied daughter, Ariel, refuses to go to school for fear of being beaten up by Amy Ahmsen, and precocious Bridgette repeatedly asks what an arraignment is. The first Friday Allison is in a horrific car accident. She sees a body in the trunk of the offending vehicle. Ariel cries, "It's all my fault!" It was heartbreaking, but it was Bridgette's face in the hospital that killed me. She looked so concerned and confused. The girls leave Allison's hospital room with Ariel apologizing, "Mommy, I'm so sorry." Very sad, I must admit, there may have been even more tears when Allison realizes that she has lost her legs in the accident. The second Friday Allison awakes with her legs intact. Phew! Says it's like the "ultimate do-over, a get out of jail free card." Joe still wants some endorphins before breakfast. Allison finds it all eerie the second time around. She realizes it has something to do with the Federal Court Judge, but can't figure out the relationship. The third Friday Allison really gets to play with what she already knows it's fantastic Allison tries to instill in Ariel a little bad a**!!! This won't go well at school. Ariel will hit Amy she maybe taking the 'bad a**' suggestion just a little too far. And Bridgette's arraignment question gets answered with, "Too late," by her very ticked off mother. Shakespearian aside, Scanlon is having lunch with the deputy mayorI thought he broke it off with her last week? The restaurant hold-up goes very wrong when Scanlon gets shot. Okay, no worries, just a dream. The fourth Friday is the charm. The dead body is Judge Whitman's. Michael Williams may have killed the judge. Who is he? Ariel gets to stay home. Allison gives the carpet salesman phone call to Maria; she stares at the phone in her lap. Why is William's holding up the restaurant where all the judges are having lunch? Devalos informs Allison, arraignments are time sensitive. Their's has already been pushed to the final date. If the arraignment doesn't happen but the end of the day, the criminal gets set free. Turns out that Michael Williams is the brother of girlfriend of the guy getting arraigned. Doesn't take much now for Scanlon and his boys to nab him when he tries to rob the restaurant. The fifth morning is finally Saturday!!! Allison and Joe finally get to consummate their week and enjoy a few endorphins! But it's really just Thursday and for you and me Happy Thanksgiving! show less
