Live dramas from Los Angeles were presented weekday afternoons on NBC in an ambitious anthology that featured original material as well as adaptations of literary classics. Among the 650 episodes produced were works by George Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde, Henry James, Charles Dickens, Aldous Huxley, John Steinbeck, Tennessee Williams and Rod Serling. Actors appearing on the series included John Carradine, Richard Crenna, Roddy McDowall, Vincent Price and Dean Stockwell.
