A two-part adaptation of “Take a Girl like You,” Kingsley Amis's 1960 comic novel about love and lust in the1950s, opens with lothario Patrick Standish (Rupert Graves) eyeing virginal Jenny Bunn (Sienna Guillory), a suburban-London teacher who is both “unnecessarily pretty” and “a nice girl.” And Patrick is hardly her only pursuer.
