First Aired: February 13, 2000
In the conclusion of “Madame Bovary,” Emma (Frances O'Connor) is passionately in love with Rodolphe (Greg Wise). Then, in Rouen, she meets up again with Leon (Hugh Dancy), and more passion ensues. As always, her husband Charles (Hugh Bonneville) remains faithful---and, by and large, clueless. He also gives her control of their finances. Lhereux: Keith Barron.
