Anthony Hopkins portrays "Kean," the notorious actor (1787-1833). The two-part comedy is adapted from Sartre's 1953 play. Part 1 finds Kean in pursuit of the Countess de Koefeld (Sara Kestelman) while fending off the advances of a young would-be actress (Cherie Lunghi). Prince of Wales: Robert Stephens.
