Episode Synopsis: The sixth season opens with the 4077th acquiring a replacement surgeon (David Ogden Stiers) when Frank doesn't return from R & R, but the assignment is longer than the new doctor would prefer. Meanwhile, Margaret returns from her honeymoon in a bad mood. Col. Baldwin: Robert Symonds. Dr. Berman: Raymond Singer. Schaeffer: Rick Hurst. The teleplay by Jim Fritzell and Everett Greenbaum was nominated for a Writers Guild Award.

Premise: A beloved, multi-Emmy-winning series about Army surgeons cutting up amid the Korean War. 'War is hell.
