Premise: Mary Tyler Moore played a Chicago tabloid's consumer advocate. Her spunk was intact and the newsroom setting was familiar from her classic 1970s series, but despite a good supporting cast (including James Farentino, Katey Sagal and John Astin), format reworkings and a time-slot shift, the sitcom was canceled after a short run.
