Premise: A widower learns that his housekeeper is an illegal alien, so, taking his kids' advice, he marries her. The sitcom didn't amount to much, but it did at least go out in style: The last episode ended with Daniel Hugh-Kelly, in character, announcing the show's cancellation, followed by the cast and crew saying goodbye to viewers.
