The airmen embark in the final integrated phase of the training where they must combine all they have learned throughout the course to survive in an arctic environment.
The airmen continue their battle with open water and hypothermia in the ocean and then move inland to navigate raging river rapids.
The airmen are dropped in the scorching desert environment without food and water and forced to fend for themselves. They must endure the heat, dehydration and deadly rattlesnakes.
US Airmen begin the five month long SERE survival course. They will spend 2 weeks in the wilderness learning the survival basics to prepare them for the intense training that lies ahead.
