Premise: Reality fare following the formation and grooming of music acts, from open-call auditions and rehearsals to performances and recording sessions. Early on, the boy band O-Town was formed under the tutelage of Lou Pearlman, the mogul responsible for 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys. Later, rap supremo Sean `Diddy' Combs oversaw the formation of an R&B/hip-hop act; and then an all-girl group.
