Premise: Generation-gap fare focusing on an irreverent magazine columnist and his daughter-publisher. Despite strong initial buzz, the series failed to live up to expectations in its post-`Seinfeld' time slot and was abruptly canceled. It marked another disappointment for costar Dabney Coleman, who had previous flops with `Buffalo Bill,' `The Slap Maxwell Story' and `Drexell's Class.'
