Premise: Tough drama about a hard-boiled, veteran cop who breaks rules and ruffles the brass, with Richard Widmark repeating a role he played in an excellent 1968 movie (in which his character is killed). Originally telecast as an entry in the `NBC Wednesday Mystery Movie,' along with `Banacek' and `Cool Million.'
