MacGyver's fifth season marks somewhat of a change. He joins forces with arch-enemy Murdoc, takes a trip to the past ("Serenity") and to the future ("Passages").
MacGyver is a one-man unarmed force that can find his way out of any danger using only everyday items he's picked up along the way.
MacGyver is no ordinary secret agent. He fights for justice using the most dangerous weapon of all: his intelligence.
Old friends and old enemies return to complicate MacGyver's life.
He's everyone's favorite action hero but he's a hero with a difference. Angus MacGyver is a secret agent whose wits are his deadliest weapon.
Richard Dean Anderson stars as MacGyver, an agent for the Phoenix Foundation, a progressive agency devoted to righting the wrongs of the world. Even more progressive is the near-genius MacGyver who never carries a gun and always thwarts the enemy with his vast scientific knowledge, sometimes with little more than a paper clip and the duct tape in his pocket.
The final season of MacGyver has our hero moving from his houseboat into an inner-city neighborhood and his adventures take on a more domestic than international slant. Jack and Murdoc return ("Obsessed" and "The Mountain of Youth") as well as the Colton brothers ("The Coltons"). In the series finale, MacGyver's son is introduced ("The Stringer").
