One of the early TV cop dramas to get down and dirty on mean streets, this series featured a driving jazz theme composed by Count Basie; and guest appearances by such futures stars as Angie Dickinson, Janice Rule, Charles Bronson and a pre-`Gunsmoke' Burt Reynolds.
