This New York-based melodrama mined the theater for a tale of two sisters, one good, one wicked, but both top-notch fun. The sibs battled one another, lovers and lying children, including one (played by a future Superman) whose bigamy led to a daytime first involving a swear word that fittingly described the scoundrel's illegitimate child. `Love' enjoyed a long run that came to an abrupt end after the plots became tiringly overrun by assorted head cases.
