Season 26, Episode 5 Memorial Concert

A memorial concert honoring victims of the Sept. 11 attacks features the New York Philharmonic performing Brahms' “A German Requiem” (1867). Soloists: soprano Heidi Grant Murphy and baritone Thomas Hampson, with with the New York Choral Artists and the American Boychoir. Kurt Masur conducts. Beverly Sills hosts the program, which is also schduled to include remarks by New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani.
