Soloist Anne-Sophie Mutter performs in violin concerti of Jean Sibelius and Alban Berg in this all-20th-century New York Philharmonic concert, conducted by Kurt Masur. The orchestra also performs excerpts from Sergei Prokofiev's “Romeo and Juliet.” Mutter's appearance marks the 20th anniversary of her January 1980 debut with the New York Philharmonic. Beverly Sills hosts.
