A formulaic but worthwhile fact-based drama about a proudly nonconformist teen (Alia Shawkat) who finds her life disrupted when high-school administrators and her fellow students wrongly label her a dangerous threat just because she doesn't look and act like everybody else. The film features fine performances by Illeana Douglas and Eric Schweig as the girl's loving parents. Henry Bracken: Ritchie Montgomery. John Butler: Gary Grubbs. Casey: Simon Carter. Directed by Tom McLoughlin.
