One Life to Live's Scott Bryce and Michael Easton team up

As the World Turns alum Scott Bryce — who romanced Meg Ryan's Betsy back in the '80s as the original Craig Montgomery — is coming back to daytime. But instead of returning to Oakdale, he's headed for One Life to Live's Llanview as police shrink Ed Crosby. He'll begin counseling broody cop John McBain (Michael Easton) on Jan. 4. Does One Life to Live plan to reunite Todd Manning with ex-wife Téa Delgado, last played by the gorgeous Florencia Lozano in 2002? We recently came across an OLTL audition script for a scene between Todd and "Lucia," a woman who sounds a lot like his long-lost Latina legal eagle. So is a recast in the works? One Life to Live alum Mark Dobies — who murdered two Llanviewers this year as Nora's closet-case husband, Daniel — hasn't given up his life of TV crime. He guest-stars on CSI: Miami on Nov. 14 as a building contractor with a checkered past. The episode, entitled "Nailed," is a gnarly whodunit about a woman shot to death with a nail gun. Premise: Agnes Nixon's classic soap about the tempestuous 'burb of Llanview, where secrets abound, mostly about the Lord and Buchanan clans. It premiered July 15, 1968, and was one of the first soaps to feature major black characters, as well as full-blown music and fantasy episodes. In 2005, Erika Slezak won her record sixth Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for her role as the oft-wed Viki Lord Buchanan. Alums include Tommy Lee Jones, Ryan Phillipe, Roma Downey, Judith Light and Tom Berenger.
