Michael Gladis, Leverage

Leverage's Nate Ford has out-conned some very ruthless opponents, but for his next job, he'll have to outsmart himself. Well, sort of.

Summer TV: Get scoop on your favorite returning shows

In Sunday's episode (9/8c, TNT) Nate (Timothy Hutton) and his team target a public relations whiz named Reed Rockwell (Mad Men's Michael Gladis). Rockwell's particular brand of PR involves protecting his clients by sniping at their enemies and sometimes launching full-scale character assassinations. The challenge in taking Rockwell down is that he's a bit of a wizard behind the curtain.

"He works from the shadows and behind the scenes, sort of like Nate," Gladis tells TVGuide.com.... read more

Leverage: How Will Nate and Sophie's Hookup Affect the Team?

Timothy Hutton, Gina Bellman

Leverage executive producer Dean Devlin says Season 4 is all about consequences, and few events are likely to have more fallout than the hookup between Nate and Sophie in the Season 3 finale.

Summer TV: Get scoop on your favorite returning shows

Devlin says the writers considered the "Moonlighting Curse" before agreeing to pair up Nate (Timothy Hutton) and Sophie (Gina Bellman). "It was a big, well-talked-out decision and we were very nervous about the idea," Devlin tells TVGuide.com. "Every season, we've tried to end the season as though it's our last. So we thought if last season was our last, we wanted them to be together. But we also threw in a big "Whoops!" at the end when they realize they're in bed together."

And that "whoops" will drive the early part of Season 4, as Nate and Sophie try to keep the secret from the rest of the team. In the season premiere ... read more

I just watched The Mentalist finale again, and I have no idea what they're going to do next season. Any clues? — Chris
ADAM
: It's simple: Jane will claim that he killed Red John in self-defense after he learned that Red John was communicating with his mole, Agent O'Loughlin. (We all saw the gun and the phone call, right?) Not so fast, says series creator Bruno Heller. "Not only is there no cell phone with any calls from an FBI Agent named O'Loughlin, but no gun will be found [by the police]," he says, hinting that someone is still pulling the strings. "Within five minutes of the season-opener, Jane is in jail for homicide with no way out. And he and Lisbon, to some extent, start questioning his sanity." There we go — the insanity defense!

Any scoop on the new season of True Blood? — Renee
NATALIE:
On a show where the term dead is, to say the least, fluid, we'll discover yet another permutation when we witness a chilling resurrection. Tara has a new 'do — and a hilariously entertaining new job. And if I were to tell you that the hottest human-vampire couple among the Bon Temps faithful is no longer Jessica and Hoyt, would you be as sad as I am? Eric wouldn't be.

Is it just me, or did Brennan seem shocked that Booth was happy about her being pregnant on Bones? — Josh
ADAM:
It's not just you. "There was a little something in that," executive producer Stephen Nathan says. "She's spent six years... read more

Got any scoop on Desperate Housewives? — Sara
NATALIE:
Poor Paul Young. Both of his wives have killed themselves — not a very good track record! — and now somebody's trying to kill him. Again. This time, the culprit is a bit more sly. I'm hearing he or she will slip some anti-freeze into Paul's dinner. If you've already put together that this will coincide with the return of Felicia Tilman, bravo.

I love that Brendan Hines is going to stir up jealousy on Castle. What else can you tell me? — Monica
