Timothy Hutton Promises "Over-Revenge" in Leverage Season 2

Timothy Hutton

Leverage returns Wednesday (TNT, 9 pm/ET) with a second season of Timothy Hutton's team of thieves turning the tables on the high-powered scam artists of the world. Last season ended with the team split up over a heist that went askew because of one team member's overzealousness. But Hutton promises this season will include a reunion and his character, Nate, getting his vices under control — kind of. read more

Aldis Hodge, Leverage: "The Cons Are More Insane!"

Aldis Hodge, Leverage

What's happening, people? This is Aldis Hodge, but you probably know me better as Hardison, your neighborhood tech thief.

The whole Leverage cast is so happy and excited to get to another season. So far, we've shot half of it, and I can already tell you that you're in for an even crazier ride. The cons are ... read more

Mega Buzz on Grey's, Housewives, CSI: Miami, Tree Hill and More!

Katherine Heigl (Grey's Anatomy), Marcia Cross (Housewives) and David Caruso (CSI: Miami)

Every week, senior editors Matt Webb Mitovich, Mickey O'Connor and Tim Molloy satisfy your need for TV scoop. Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

Color me shocked that Katherine Heigl isn't leaving Grey's Anatomy. Is it possible we're being duped in some way? — Krista
MATT: I must say that the lack of fanfare surrounding ABC's confirmation of Heigl's status — especially when juxtaposed with the flurry of official statements regarding T.R. Knight's departure — made me raise one of my overgrown eyebrows. "Sure, she's staying... for just one more episode," I cynically hypothesized. But one of my best sources insists that this is not a case of clever semantics, and that Heigl's Izzie will have a significant presence in the fall.

Please give me some scoop on what's next for Desperate Housewives' Bree.  — Fernando R.
MICKEY: Bree may come off like a brittle maneater, but at heart she's a real softy, which is why juggling an angry Orson and a horny Karl will really ... read more

Mega Buzz on Chuck, Gossip Girl, Without a Trace, True Blood and More!

Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck), Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace)

Every week, senior editors Matt Webb Mitovich, Mickey O'Connor and Tim Molloy satisfy your need for TV scoop. Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

Chuck deserves a whole season, not just 13 episodes. Any chance of more? Darryl
MATT: Actually, yes. NBC entertainment president Ben Silverman says that while the current plan is to deliver 13 midseason episodes, depending on the ratings, "we may extend it out and continue it through the summer," where he thinks it could pair nicely with Friday Night Lights. "We're looking to ... keep [Chuck] incredibly viral and buzz-worthy until it returns, and then hopefully have it on our air for many years to come." That'd be Awesome. And even more so? I chatted up Scott Bakula at TNT's upfronts luncheon, and he's game for more Chuck, if need be.

Any scoop on Gossip Girl's Season 3? — F.R.
MICKEY: Speaking with TVGuide.com at the CW upfronts, Leighton Meester seemed to confirm that Georgina's plan to ... read more

Mega Buzz on Housewives, 24, Leverage, Lost and More!

Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Elisha Cuthbert (24) and Timothy Hutton (Leverage)

Every week, senior editors Matt Webb Mitovich, Mickey O'Connor and Tim Molloy satisfy your need for TV scoop. Please send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

When will Kim Bauer be coming back to 24? And will it have anything to do with the bio-weapon Jack has been exposed to? — Yong
MATT: When I asked Kiefer Sutherland about the nature of Kim's latest encore (slated for mid-April), he said, "Something has happened to Jack, and it's he who asks for her — normally it's the other away around." Kiefer went on to call the father-daughter reunion "very human and real ... a part of the show I'm excited for the audience to see." So your theory sounds about right. Just don't expect the now-married Kim to have Pony Boy at her side; her Season 5 romance apparently didn't take.

Are we ever going to see the Scavo twins on Desperate Housewives again? I love those goofy bastards. — Rachel
MICKEY: No word on Dumb or Dumber, but if it's adolescent angst you're hankering for, get a load of this: Another Housewife will soon ... read more

Mega Buzz on Battlestar, Grey's, CSI, Dollhouse, 24 & More

Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy), Marg Helgenberger (CSI) and Mary McDonnell (Battlestar Galactica)

Every week, senior editors Matt Mitovich, Mickey O'Connor and Tim Molloy satisfy your need for TV scoop. Send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

Who at TVGuide.com attended the Battlestar Galactica press screening on Monday night? And what's the frakkin' word? — Danny
MICKEY: I am in Florida, exploring an unfamiliar civilization of a different sort (the retirement community), so we sent TVGuide.com Nerd High Priestess Erin Fox. Once Doc Cottle revived her with smelling salts, she said this: "The first hour-and-a-half of the finale is so intense, you'll find it difficult to breathe. So many questions will be answered — including some you probably thought wouldn't be addressed due to time constraints. Also, if Mary McDonnell isn't recognized by the Emmys this year, it'll be a frakkin' shame. She had the crowd in tears more than once with her brilliant performance." Erin then hugged her Cylon toaster to her chest, placed a paper bag over her mouth and nose and breathed gently until it was safe to stand again. (P.S. Share your favorite BSG moments here.)

The best part of Grey's Anatomy for me this season has been the sexy pairing of Lexie and Mark. What's ahead for the sizzling duo? — Kelly
MATT: More sexy. More pairing. More ... read more

Kevin Tige and Timothy Hutton, Leverage

Biggest Loser: Couples
8 pm/ET NBC
The players are thrust out of their comfort zones in the first half of this two-part episode. The buddy system goes out the window as the teams are reorganized into just two groups. This move pairs some players with a new trainer, and the adjustment isn't an easy one for all of them. Once the dust settles, the contestants compete in a 24-hour bike challenge. The second half of the episode airs tomorrow at 8 pm/ET.

Gina Bellman, Leverage: "The Second David Job"

Gina Bellman, Leverage

Hi everyone, sorry I slipped under the radar last week. Couldn't face your comments after Sophie behaved so appallingly in "The First David Job"! Not really — I had lots of real-life stuff going on, such as moving house and getting ready to go back to the U.S. to shoot Leverage Season 2. It's a lot of work packing up and leaving your life and responsibilities behind for six months. We don't even know for sure which city we're going to shoot in; there's a short list of two cities with completely different climates, so what to pack?! Actually, last year I completely overpacked. I forgot I'd be in costume most days and vegging out learning lines and doing laundry on weekends. I could have managed with just one bag of jeans, T-shirts and sweats. My long-suffering boyfriend ... read more
