David Lee “Tex” Hill is profiled. In 1946, he became the youngest Brigadier General in the history of the Air National Guard. Before that, he served with the Flying Tigers, the 23rd Fighter Group and the 75th Fighter Group.
Donald Lopez is profiled. The aviator flew with the 14th Air Forces 23rd Fighter Group (the Flying Tigers) in China during World War II. Following the war, he worked as a test pilot; and became deputy director of the National Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
