After a pediatrician is found guilty of molesting his patients, he sues the NYPD and a medical center, claiming they hesitated to take legal action. When he turns up dead, Stabler and Benson are surprised to see Alex Cabot (Stephanie March) at the scene.
While investigating a triple homicide, Benson and Stabler get assistance from a former dancer (Carol Burnett) who is now a strip-club owner, as well as from her nephew (Matthew Lillard). When the prime suspect dies, the focus shifts to a vigilante.

A woman (Gail O'Grady) reports the disappearance of her 2-year-old granddaughter, but an Amber Alert fails to yield progress. Detectives then shift their focus to the girl's irresponsible young mother (Hilary Duff), who becomes their prime suspect.
In the 10th-season finale, the discovery of a tourist's body in Central Park leads detectives to question a former artist (Nick Stahl). Finn and Munch then try to keep tabs on him, but he loses the pair, so Munch seeks help from his ex-wife (Carol Kane).
