A 9-year-old boy's violent behavior escalates, forcing his parents to face the truth about him as authorities decide how to proceed with his case. Before long, a standoff scenario emerges. Meanwhile, Amaro tries to form a relationship with his son.
A suburban teenage girl is raped at a concert, and eyewitnesses provide conflicting accounts of the incident. Soon, a military veteran who has lapses in his memory emerges as the prime suspect, and Amaro grows protective of the fellow vet.
While investigating a triple homicide, Benson and Stabler get assistance from a former dancer (Carol Burnett) who is now a strip-club owner, as well as from her nephew (Matthew Lillard). When the prime suspect dies, the focus shifts to a vigilante.
