Video: SVU Stars Say the Finale Is One of the Darkest Episodes Yet

Law & Order: SVU fans, prepare yourselves for one of the darkest episodes yet.

On the Season 14 finale (Wednesday, May 22, 9/8c), the squad is trying to put away a sociopath (played by Pablo Schreiber) who is outsmarting them at every turn. By the end, Detective Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is in a very precarious situation.

NBC's Fall 2013 Schedule: Revolution moves to Wednesdays, Parenthood to Thursdays

"Then it slowly gets darker and darker, and by the end of the episode, it's about as dark as the episodes have ever gotten [and] I don't know if [Amaro] can help Benson."

Also in the video, Kelli Giddish talks about the tough run her character has had more recently, but adds that she's happy that the arc gave her the opportunity to shoot some touching scenes with Ice T.
